    I was impressed with the Fitness Evolved game, and the some of the games on adventures were ok, but it's got no legs as far as I can see.

    That reminds me - should kids be able to play Adventures? When mine tried it thought they were always kneeling down.

    Is your Kinect high up or pretty low below TV? Kinect seems to have some trouble with small kids when it is highj up on the wall.
    It's under the TV, I'd say just under his eye level. It really struggles with his hand gestures and can't really pick out when he's holding his hand out in front of him. I thought it may be caused by him only having short arms and small hands (compared to mine). How does Kinect deal with sunlight? That could also have been an issue...
