I haven't even got round to seeing Watchmen yet, and I actually like that comic. So yeah, I'm a bit bored of them already, so I don't watch them any more, but I guess I'm in a minority judging by box office takings.
Its just that the vast majority are complete cack. I would have though people would be fed up with it by now.
On the other hand, that's all the superhero/comic adaptations from the last ten years or so I can think of right now. Have there really been enough to cause saturation?
X-Men
X2
X-Men 3: The Last Stand
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Catwoman
Batman Begins
The Dark Knight
Superman Returns
Spider-Man
Spider-Man 2
Spider-Man 3
Iron Man
Iron Man 2
Hulk
The Incredible Hulk
The Fantastic Four
The Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer
Daredevil
Hellboy
Hellboy 2: The Golden Army
Ghost Rider
Blade II
Blade Trinity
Elektra
Then we also have still to come:
Thor
Green Lantern
Green Hornet
The Avengers
Captain America: The First Avenger
X-Men: First Class
Silver Surfer
Spider-Man reboot
A Superman film of some kind
The Dark Knight Rises
Ant Man
Ghost Rider 2
There's probably loads more that I've missed. Aquaman, Green Arrow, Deadpool maybe.
