The game's not bad, and I've no big issue with the controls as I'm playing it on the PC.|
My main criticism stems from the level design, set pieces, enemy encounters and, crucially, pacing which I find is pretty run-of-the-mill.
I doesn't help that I've just come off the back of a playthrough of Resident Evil 4, as really any game is gonna suffer if it has to follow that act. So maybe I'm being a bit harsh on this title. Tbh, I don't regret buying it or anything, I do quite like it and will play through it again as the shooting is extremely well done.
But the game does take control away from the player far too often. That's not really what I want in an action game. The encounters are short, and there are far too many cutscenes throughout. Just... the balance is all off, I think.
