I think south west trains need a certificate of excellence in retardation for their "disruption prevention" measures this morning.
They announced yesterday evening that they would operate a limited service to avoid disruption due to snow. This morning it turns out that limited service means they cancelled most of the trains of this morning and expected everyone to get on these limited service trains. Leading to people waiting for 30 mins for a train that's packed when it arrives.
