The alternative is a slightly slower (write, read may be a bit faster but not up to RAID0 speed), wiht the capacity of one drive. If either HDD fails it doesn't matter, the other one has you covered. RAID1.

Registered 11 years agoYou currently see a drive that is slightly faster than a normal one, with the capacity of both. If either HDD fails you'll lose all the data (on both). RAID0.
The alternative is a slightly slower (write, read may be a bit faster but not up to RAID0 speed), wiht the capacity of one drive. If either HDD fails it doesn't matter, the other one has you covered. RAID1.
