This whole Occams Razor debate seems rather pointless. I've never heard of it before but from what I can gather it would work like this: Fact: my fridge is empty. Conclusion: i shall starve to death. Since that is the simplest conclusion I can draw. Ah but there's a shop down the road? No I can't consider that as I have no proof to say it's either closed or has no stock, therefore I must only reach a conclusion on known facts. Clearly this has led me to a conclusion that is utterly useless and inaccurate.
Can someone then explain what benefit or relevance OR holds for anything?
