Given the ingredients needed to create an ultimate weapon for each character, I think going for the platinum is signing up for hours of tedium, which kind of defeats the object of a game really. I've played out the endgame up to mission 64 (and what a bugger he is!), but once I've nailed him and finished 5 starring the others, I think I'll count myself out of the grinding needed for the equipment trophy.
