Yeah, that what I've read about the issue of a human player dropping out so that shouldn't be a problem. I don't know if it would but maybe that new fangly google wave thing might make things that little bit easier for sending turns back and forth. I have an account but haven't really ever used it yet.
Also, googlemail is meant to work well for this kind of thing. Not that other email systems would not work of course.
