From what I can tell it seems like several games can be "game of the year" in the same year. Fallout 3 GOTY and LBP GOTY were both released this year... how does that work?
And one more thing. UC2 seems to be the GOTY on almost every site on the internet, are there still going to multiple "GOTY editions"?*
I know there are several sites giving out GOTY 'awards', does this mean that as long as at least one site gives a game a GOTY, the publisher can release a GOTY Edition if they want?
*The only exceptions I know are gamasutra giving Dragon Age the goty and Gamespot giving goty to Demons Souls.
