Yeah, definitely one of my favourite ever film moments, very memorable too.
It's interesting that you said about the inhuman and animilastic thing though -
I agree, but I think at times this is only emphasised because actually, for cgi characters like that they were actually *very* human at times, it seemed like a step forward in getting cgi characters to have their own endearing personalties.
Adam I haven't seen district 9 so can't compare the two, but avatar is definitely one of my favourite ever films, so if it took 12 years to do the trilogy? I'd say for me it was worth it!
