Ok, My Ps3 died with the YLOD, now then, when i phoned Sony today they quoted me £128 for a refurbished PS3. Now considering that the slim is out and rumours about the 250 i am in two minds.
1. would you get it refurbised
2. Would you buy a new slim
or 3. i watched Youtube repair guide that showed you how to dismantle it, and apply thermal compound to the chips to get it going again, (90% success rate)
At the minute i'm thinking on option 3, then if its goes again buying a new one
