I dunno. It's a lot more interesting for me to believe that things can be changed. So I'll keep doing that until it's proven otherwise.
And anyway we don't really know that much about what's happening. We know what's going to happen, but we don't really know how it happened or why and it's just as interesting finding that out (if not more so) as realising a completely new chain of events is happening.
Besides most other shows with time travel always do the changing past thing and it's just feels boring and lazy now. We need more single timeline stories like 12 Monkeys.
