I've just finished the DLC. If you play it on normal, you can pretty much breeze though it in around less than an hour. The 90 minutes playtime is for those on the hardest level.
SPOILERS ALERT !!!!
Too much driving around in the Mako is quite boring. Also not fun is plenty of turrets firing rockets at you.
The three initial buildings are the same as all of the generic buildings you find in the ME galaxy. Disappointing.
Locating the three survey stations are a waste of time (which adds to the supposed 90 minutes of playtime).
The only fun bit is at the main facility where you get to fight a large number of Batarians and drones in a newly designed underground facility. This battle can be difficult at the higher difficulty settings.
There are also several situations where you get to choose whether to save hostages or not, let baddies live or not etc. Right at the very end of the mission, you can also choose some equipment, but only once. I chose the Omni-tool (you must have either paragon/renegade points for this), and it gave me the Savant X. The other stuff is human and quarian armour.
Overall, I was a little disappointed with the lack of variety on offer here. I was expecting something akin to ME's main missions. Driving around in the Mako was tedious, and using the same buildings over and over? Please, get some new designs in. Bioware certainly had the time to get it right. I hope for their next DLC, please skip these asteroid missions and give us missions like in the main story, with something new and interesting.
Is it worth 400 points? Depends on whether you absolutely love Mass Effect or not. Besides, 400 points equals to only around 2 quid where I live, so it's not bad at all.
