Spec Ops : The Line 80%|
Decent writing, excellent locations and didn't outstay its welcome. The level design was reminiscent of Bulletstorm, making imaginative use of colour and the cityscape of Dubai.
There are some mandatory turret sections but the game design made up for it in other ways; sand collapses, sand storms and being able to use a grenade to kick up some cover in the desert.
This is the first 3rd person cover shooter I have played through on the 360 controller and I found the combat and weapons very satisfying, to the extent that I replayed some levels immediately after finishing the game. One tricky level involved having to stick the aim-assist on. I know, I know - I'm pretty late to this.
