Tried to reinvent itself for the CoD crowd only to lose its identity and poorly imitate aspects of the game it aspires to copy. Crap disconnected vehicle sections, incoherent B grade action flick plot, hammy acting by McDowell and Winstone, dire yeehaw dialogue, a complete personality change from its predecessor, the whole tone of the game changed for the worse. Had they hired a good writer and explored the human face of war and the KZ backstory a little instead of going the dudebro/big set piece route it could have been great. The game seemed to be just ticking off boxes of modern FPS staples. Some places they got it right, the albeit short trench section for example is the type of intense battle that gets the adrenaline going, but overall a disappointment.
MP is enjoyable and gives the game an extra point but nowhere near as good as KZ2.
