There's still no new physics model that would solve all the problems we have with our current model(s), so I'm not sure if it's actually proven. But if I remember right, most if not all models that seem to go in the right direction assume somewhere between 9 and 23 dimensions.|
Or did you mean a multiverse, where countless universes exist in parallel? If so, that's still very speculative afaik. What implications that would have for free will and choice, I have little idea. But it seems like you're existing in the present of only one of them, and from that point the chance of any noticeable (in terms of your life) difference in the future should be virtually zero.
