The risk for a company when making a game could be expressed as:|
Cost of making game / RRP = Risk
The larger that risk is the more units they need to shift before they make a profit. If the games women buy are much cheaper to make then the risk to the developer may be lower and it will be easier for them to make a profit. If this is the case then it makes sense to focus on this demographic.
