The distortion of characters/buildings was minimal, but I don't think you have to distort body shapes massively to be 'not realistic'. I thought it was beautiful =) Genuine OMG this is gorgeous territory for me.
On that subject I think Brink had a really cool style, it was kinda realistic though and not what I'd call beautiful.
I really found Dishonoured to be the most amazing eye candy I've come across lately. It was like playing in oils, I really loved the art and character style - much better than shooting for ultra-realism in my book.
