I have one and it's great. Steaks and bacon are ace on them but yeah, it takes a lot of effort to clean.|
Veg is actually really good on it - aubergine slices grill really well and if you take a moment to plan it then you can get the pretty diamond char marks. Asparagus too - I wash them then shake them off and put them onto the griddle. Put a flat saucepan lid or cake tin directly the top and weigh it down and it takes a couple of mins. Toss in a bit of olive oil and it's scrummy.
