    If you are talking about New Mario Bros. U I think that game don't require the Gamepad but it does require motion control. Therefore it can only be played with the Gamepad or a Wiimote. Correct me if I am wrong about this.

    I use the Pro controller a lot but only for Assassin's creed III, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's edge. I would use it for F-Zero and Balloon fight as well but those games I usually play on the Gamepad (with the TV turned off) when I sit in another room.
