Just tried the demo myself. I didn't have any problems running into OLs, but I agree about everyone running around as if they're drunk (which probably isn't too unlike reality, actually ). I had a LB chase a RB down from behind and the collision caused my LB to fly in the opposite direction onto his back, as if he had been struck head on.|
All-in-all, not too unlike 12, which was expected. The same plays still work as well as always. There were some changes, like how difficult it is to get away from being blocked or the ease with which a juke move succeeds (less ease), but we'll see in the long run how that affects gameplay. Usually they take from one and give to another so that it balances exactly how it did before anyway.
With the gameplay being largely identical, hopefully they've beefed up the franchise modes and such, but I already wasn't thrilled about the in-game menus. Very bubbly and huge. Presentation seemed a bit better, which was nice. I just hope the silly, meaningless features they've added (share to facebook and twitter) isn't the bulk of what they've been working on.
