Yep, it is a bit knee-jerk. I'm not saying that all of Sky is doping, or even just the Tenerife group, but hiring Geert Leinders as part of the medical team and having secret training camps goes against everything that SKY said they'd do initially (transparency, hiring doctors from outside cycling, vehemently anti-doping). I won't say it stinks, but it does smell bad. Froome is now better than Wiggins. Wiggins, the multiple Olympic champion with a long history of spectacular performance throughout his career. In one year he's gone from being a near nobody (slightly unfair, I know) to the best rider in the Tour de France. That doesn't happen.
As far as Contador goes, I'd be amazed if he wasn't doping hard at various points in his career so far. But at least he had form from a young age. As did other, great champions such as Armstrong, Ullrich, and Pantani (not exactly the cleanest roll-call you could make). Froome is matching these legends.
