Completely stopped caring about them about a year ago. Used to obsessively 1000/1000 my favourite games like Arkham Asylum, spending hours doing something inane for a superficial and hollow reward. Being constantly rewarded really takes the edge of actual game satisfaction, each subsequent pat on the head feels less and less gratifying.|
I understand their relevance and when done well they can add longevity to a game but since ignoring them completely my love for games has really being rekindled, very liberating.
