Post-launch there's the possibility that the 4.5GB will increase. Sony are famous for increasing the options on their consoles post-launch, so expect this to happen sooner rather than later.
The pixels on the screen are all that really matter, so I don't think any consumers should be concerned by this either way, but as the numbers are, well, numbers, you may as well get them right.
