    Three examples which are not and cannot be raised in the ending, and therefore are completely ignored by it.

    That's the problem, the ending explicitly ignores what has gone before it. There is no challenge to the Catalyst, you must accept that it is correct in its assessment of the "problem" of synthetics, and you are only allowed to choose one of the "solutions" to that problem.

    Because you must agree with the Catalyst, the narrative does not challenge it.
