Agree with much of what has already been said. The barrier to entry for many multiplayer titles is too high from a time perspective - it simply takes too long to come by any sense of immersion and belonging. Single player games tend to be designed to draw you into their world from the off, without the distraction of angry teenagers questioning your sexuality/skills/whatever else they're angry at. |
The simple fact is that the older I get, the more valuable my scarce gaming times becomes. For this gamer it's not a difficult choice to make.
