Agreed. Perhaps if more of us thought and acted as he does this thread would be a little different:
No my comment isn't about his stance. It is just when you listen to someone of real integrity, passion and empathy for other humans, it restores you belief that humans are fundamentally good, when so much that you see and hear tells you otherwise.

I remember her at the funeral of MP Eric Heffer. I was asked to make a speech and as I was waiting, there was someone behind me coughing. It was Mrs Thatcher, and at the end I thanked her for coming and she burst into tears. She had come out of respect for someone whose opinions she disagreed with.
