    RGB SCART is a lot like component (only slightly different) and so a mile ahead of the other SCART video signal (which is actually a single wire composite, so same as yellow video cable for the non-technical). The major downside of RGB SCART is the cable specs never envisioned HD stream and so while component can do HD (720p well, 1080p kinda most of the time) SCART is locked as a SD only cable.
