Okay, here's the thing with announcements. When Apple do one for whatever product it's usually followed by "and it ships next week" or thereabouts. None of this in a few months time stuff. So sales may drop off for a week or so and then people start buying. |
I suspect MS will do something similar and not really give it that much time between announcement and it shipping. They may do a post E3 conference.
But Sony announcing so early may well leave them in a bad place. First time they were too late with hardware. Now they're too early with the announcement. Perhaps.
Will know for sure on 20th what they have up their sleeve.
Edit: All this discussion about the chips etc. are all very interesting but I don't have a clue what it all means.
