I received an interesting PPS today. It seems that Jupiter's gravity and the influence it has on Mars will make it so that Mars and Earth will be the closest ever together for the past 5000 years and it won't happen again in the next 60000 years. This will come to a climax on the 27th of august when Mars will be (next to the moon) the brightest object in the night sky.

This means it will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye.

    How awesome is that!

We will have two moons in the sky.

It will be easy to spot, from the beginning of August Mars will rise in the East and become progressively brighter during the course of the month.
