Eastbound and Down Season 2: 8/10|
This is a very unusual show but it's also often hilarious, and always enjoyable, well-acted and directed. The second season really takes things on a step. On the one hand it's hard to recommend because the characters are sort of repellent, useless and flawed, and consistently horrible to each other. On the other hand that's why it's brilliant, the shows world is essentially a school playground, the characters are all kids who never grew up, and nobody bats an eye if someone is being a complete asshole because the next moment they're just as likely to be a stalwart friend and supporter. It's mad, but it works.
Anyone who can buy into the conceit of this show and not take it at all seriously (because it's not!) will probably love it.
