    Thanks! That's a great tutorial (Which I will be making full use of once I get things sorted). Unfortunately it's of no use since the files I took off my old laptop don't contain the iTunes Music Library.XML file :(

    Is there seriously no other option but to wipe my iPhone and lose all the content? I'd also like to know that if I try to download an app I've already purchased, will it charge me again, or is it similar to the way XBLs purchases work?

    And finally, What if I were to create a back up, opt to manually manage music and videos and wipe the phone, then try to restore from the backup? Would I be back where I started? Such a fucking session to be honest.
