I think it's incredibly interesting, and I loved it all, but I decided as I studied it (could be my choice, of uni, Leeds, where the majority of lecturers thought that almost all economic theory was incredibly flawed as models simplify far too much) that it actually wasn't very useful, especially macro economics.
Macro theory works, until it stops working, at which point a new theory is made. This says to me that it can't actually be controlled and we are just noticing patterns, which makes economics not particularly relevant.
