the moment you touch a screen on a phone, it'll trigger an onTouchStart event, then almost immidiately turn into an onTouchMove event.|
but an on click works the same in touch.
If you touch a button with an onClick event and keep your finger on the button, then move it away, it will no trigger the click.
Sadly there are no comprehensive lists, from what I've found anyway.

There are some JQuery builds for mobiles but I'm much happier writing everything myself.
But as examples, I've written a few sites now where you can move objects around with the touch event and have gotten a fair bit of interaction happening.
