It should only be longer if the storyline supports it though. And too many games fail at that. Long isn't per definition a plus, in the same way that short isn't necessarily a bad thing. Apparently I'm only 60% done in the main story line and I've easily spent 7 hours playing without doing too many side missions. The "this is too short" gripe is one of arguments I most regularly fail to grasp in all honesty. Was it a good 6-8 hours spent in the main story line? For £40, I'm pretty content with what I've seen so far in terms of value for money, and I haven't even touched the challenge room stuff yet and have a lot of side missions to do.
I agree, although with games like Batman : AC their story modes should be a LOT longer because their single-player only.
While I can sympathize with "Games are too short" people, I normally find that the devs usually have got it spot on. It doesn't really add much to drag the story out too much, and I want the game to remain as excellent as it has so far for the duration.
Even though people are saying the campaign is short (which is definately seems to be) i cant help thinking this game has been designed for campaign DLC - especially with other characters being playable apart from Batman.
If i had to bet some money, id say there might be some DLC incoming for one character in particular.......The Boy Wonder, anyone?
