    The engine is still based on the same tech as the previoous two games. Heavily modified, but still the same. The 5 largest cities are confirmed as separately loaded areas. All interiors will be as well. Note the complete lack of views in/out through windows in any screenshot or video so far. If they had seamless worlds in the game, you can bet they'd be showing them off.

    It'll have to wait for the next generation, with assured cache storage (Xbox360 having no default hard drive puts a massive crimp in your open-world plans) and more RAM. Annoying, because it's totally doable. Hell, even Ultima 9 had a seamless overworld and dungeons.
