Very true, and I much prefer a good team experience to winning everytime.|
Having said that, I find that it doesn't take much for an opposing team to be "better", a little more experience playing together, more experience in PVP in general etc. Your team doesn't have to be "rubbish" or "incompetent" to fail against a team like that they only have to be less organised.
The downside for those players is by heading for the "better" PvP server they would be on the back foot from the start. Being in a less organised group can still be fun and competitive, if you're fighting like-for-like.
Then again you could argue that you can be carried by the rest of your server which has higher skill to compensate, so swings and roundabouts.
