Ultimately we live in a Democratic Dictatorship. Lets face it, the PM decides on policies and then tells all his MPs to vote through his policies. So all we get to do is decide which dictator we want in every five years.|
I say we need proportional representation hand-in-hand with a party-less system. All MPs are independent and they are free to choose whether to vote for or against a policy. Any MP can present a policy for MPs to vote on. Sure you'd still need leaders but they should not have ultimate power to dictate how the country is run. They should merely be there to coordinate things.
Any countries already have something like this?
