He should be looking at why parents don't care about ratings and trying to educate on that, rather than demonising games.|
There was quite a good article in the Independent today which covered the recent case and want back to the James Bulger murder by kids of a similar age (and didn't mention video games at all). In the end it boils down to bad parenting and growing up in a bad environment. The sad thing is that these kids will only get the help they need by committing a crime so abhorrent that the state has to intervene. And sadly the fact they will now intervene is probably of little consolations to the victims.
