    Bit OT, but for those who don't like their landlords, since the 6th of April 2007 in England and Wales all deposits on tenancy agreements have been required by law to be kept in a Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme.

    If yours hasn't then you can take him to court for the deposit with 100% chance of winning and the court will award you your deposit back, plus three times the value of the desposit on top \o/*

    * There are loopholes where they can put the deposit in before the court date, but that just means you miss out on the fine money, you'll still get your deposit :)
