Looking at upgrading my archaic system come christmas, looking at spending somewhere between £750-1000. |
I'm looking at something that'll keep me going for the foreseeable future, mainly for gaming and some 3D modelling. I know that theres technically not a best time to pick up a PC but wanted peoples thoughts on Broadwell and whether it'd be worth holding off? Or am I not going to see a massive difference in performance?
I really just want something that is as future proof as possible but obviously if it meant saving some money on a build now to potentially upgrade late next year I'd be happy too.
This system at Chillblast has caughty my eye http://www.chillblast.com/Chillblast-Fusion-Thunderbird.html
I'll most likely been playing at 1920 x 1080 res, would a 670 be overkill?
Any advice appreciated!
