As with The Prestige, people seem to be looking for the twist that isn't there in this film. The conclusion is crystal clear, and you ought to be able to deduce that without having to resort to an empirical-based argument. But just to be clear:|
The top will stop spinning, because Cobb is back in the real world. The fact that it is still spinning is a deliberate tease for simple minds. And the fact that is wobbles is irrelevant - you know it will stop spinning regardless of the wobble.
The wobble is there to show whether you have worked it out internally, or are just trusting the empirical evidence - "It wobbled, therefore it's going to fall." That is also a tease for more simple minds.
Just my interpretation of course
