It's a very enjoyable game. But yeah, it's very linear and you wont get lost, or stuck, ever. The emphasis is heavily weighted towards combat - shooting identikit men, the platforming is of the Uncharted type, and the puzzles are simple. The optional tombs act as puzzle rooms, some of these are good, but a lot are just making up the numbers, they never consist of more than one, fairly small room. There is very little of the isolation that I always associated with Tomb Raider.
But Lara herself, the location, the slickness of it all and the effective, if ridiculous, story make it worth playing.
