Alan Watts' "The Book on Taboo Against Knowing Who We Are"|
Kinda like Carl Sagan, but grounded in Eastern philosophy instead of astronomy and physics.
Seems very promising at the start but loses steam after a while (currently 1/3 of the way through). Watts seems like a great mind, but in arguing his main thesis (we are the universe dreaming itself, essentially), he gets bogged down in new-agey mush.
