@BillCityfingers Agree with your synopsis of Doctor Sleep. The first portion that dealt with Dan's internal struggles was quite good. But the last two acts lose Dan's inner voice and we're left with a half-assed adventure story devoid of tension, creepiness and horror. I was expecting something much darker, tbh, and the lack of stakes was off-putting. |
Shame because King had been on a bit of a roll lately - I really liked 11/22/63 and Full Dark No Stars.
