It seems that my 360 is sometimes a bit sensitive to very slightly dirty DVDs (as in the surface, not the content...). Last week it actually skipped a few minutes, and on further attempts, froze.
And really , the disc only had a few very light finger marks on it (I'm a maniac for that sort of thing).
