@LB: Mmmmmm. That's as it should be (regarding the apparently stiff basis for the government loans) but we don't know the details yet. Or at least, I don't. I very it very hard to believe that the taxpayer will 'win' in any way - it's totally against form. Government and big business are just a little too cosy in this country. If I come across anything (plausible) pointing towards my view of the situation, I'll post it here. Failing that, we'll know next April!|
LIBOR. I've never seen a graph on that (ta) but I do remember the news about how the LIBOR rate broke it's holding pattern with the BoE base rate. That really made me think the wheels were coming off the markets.
