in fairness, the PSN store was similarly flawed but has been considerably improved since launch,, so there may yet be hope.
Not sure it will, it really should, but I don't think it will.
As it stands the application is something you decide to go into, instead of games. Not a quick in and out service thing. Same with home and life, not a quick in and out thing. The webbrowser is how fast this (and life) really should be. Home can get a bit of leeway since it is actually loading a bunch of content... but there's no excuse for not putting the user into an immediate menu for Home where he can do some messaging actions and select which area to go to.
