    Hi -

I was just wondering whether you lot could give your impressions on this upgrade I'm foreseeing.

    Current setup:
    AMD Athlon 64 2800+
    MSI K8T Motherboard (no PCI-E)
    ATI Radeon 9800
    1.5Gb DDR RAM

I'm not looking to play the latest games at full settings, but the closer I can get to that, the better :) As an example, TF2 is now running decently at low-to-medium specs.

I was thinking of upgrading to:
    - ASUSTeK M2A-VM (AMD 690G) - Micro ATX
    - AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4400+
    - NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT
    - 2 or 3 Gb of DDR2 RAM

(I'm right in supposing that a micro-ATX fits into an ATX case, am I not?)

All this would cost me about EUR 350, which I find a very reasonable upgrade price. It depends ofcourse on what I can expect from this. Any ideas? Also, any ideas of improving the setup at a similar budget?

    Many thanks!
