Zelda DS gets US date
As Metroid Wii slips a week.
Nintendo of America has said that The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass will be released exclusively for Nintendo DS on 1st October.
With no word on a European release, a pretty favourable exchange rate and a region-free console, we expect some of you will act on that.
Phantom Hourglass adopts a similar graphical style to GameCube title The Wind Waker, and indeed follows on from it, with stylus-driven controls.
You can see more of how it works in the videos we've got on our Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass gamepage.
Also announced was the news that Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, previously down for US Wii release on 20th August, has slipped a week to the 27th.
There's still no word on when we'll get that, either, although it isn't in Nintendo's plans for Q3, so "Christmas" seems like the best bet.

DS importing is just so easy...and cheap.
Can't believe Elite Beat Agents still isn't out. If you don't yet own it...buy it.

Hahah, yeah right.
Anyway, October is the month FF Tactics for PSP comes out in Europe, so I wouldn't have been playing PH until around 2008 anyway!
